ALL INFORMATION SHALL END THIS WAY

2013

Archives are now transferring and storing their data digitally. Putting trust in technology and the virtual, but will it last? All Information Shall End This Way demonstrates that this way of storage is just as fragile and prone to deterioration as the physical. Created by man, technology mirrors our flaws that nothing can last forever, that actions are destined to fade. The video file has continuously corrupted itself, decaying until it is but a husk of abstraction. Is this how all information shall end?
